Past Pilgrimages

Our first pilgrimage was October 2–10 in 2008 where we journeyed to Assisi and Rome. We arrived in Rome the day before the Feast Day of Saint Frances of Assisi and drove to Assisi in time to tour both the Basilica of Saint Francis and Saint Clare. It was beautiful and wonderful. After a couple of days in Assisi, we went back to Rome. Every day we had time for private Mass, walking tours, dinners with Dr. Moynihan and special luminaries in the field of Vatican and Church issues. What a joy to travel with new-found friends of similar interest and love. Our hotel was within a few blocks of Vatican City but today, you can stay within the walls of the Vatican across the piazza from St. Peter’s Basilica. The Inside the Vatican Pilgrimages have reached a level of sophistication from that very first one in 2008 and promise to be a journey worth taking.

One of the pilgrims on that first pilgrimage kept a journal and another pilgrim compiled the journal with her photos to create a beautiful book. The next pilgrimage was in the Spring and another in the Fall. They just keep getting better and better the more we do. So please, join us for an Inside the Vatican magazine pilgrimage.
